Created by our fused glass jewelry artists in Delaware, this Fused Glass and Sterling Silver Pendant is absolutely dazzling with iridescent blues and greens. Included is a 1.0 mm, 18" Sterling Silver chain. Approximately 1.5" tall and .75" wide.
The early Egyptians first developed the fused glass process, an art lost for centuries. Dichroic glass, consisting of multiple glass layers, is kiln-fired to temperatures up to 1600 degrees. Mineral deposits on the glass layers are fused, producing mirror-like reflections and iridescent eye-catching colors.
